| ACADEMY STUDENTS If you are an Entrant Officer at the Regional Police Academy or any other police academy in the state, you may access this page for help in studying for your exams. Since this page is available 24 hours a day - and I thankfully am not - click on the links below for answers to your questions. You will find the Objectives and Source Documents for Constitutional Law and Missouri Statutory Law with answers and key points on each objective. These objectives and source documents were updated in February 2005 and are the most current published by POST. You will need to study these in preparation for the Missouri Peace Officer Licensing Exam (MPOLE) given at the conclusion of the Academy. My lecture notes are posted below. You will know everything I know if you read these notes. Well, maybe not everything I know, but close! I haven't taught Statutory Law for a couple of years, but the notes should be fairly current as the Objectives have not changed. The page numbers referenced may be to an old edition of the Missouri Criminal Code Handbook, however. The class notes are pretty rough in spots and I will work to refine them as time goes on. In addition, you will see prompts that I have included to remind me to discuss a topic. Unfortunately, they won't make any sense unless you've heard my complete lecture. The other class I teach is Case and Trial Preparation. Here are the Objectives/Source Document and Class Notes for that class.
